Navas happy with City move

New manchester City signing, Jesus Navas is delighted with the move from the Spanish league to the English league.
The player, who is reportedly cost City £14.9 million is set to join his country man David Silva in the middle of the park for City's attack will undoubtedly cause havoc to many clubs.
City annouced the purchase of the midfielder last week, offering him a five-year deal and the spaniard says he cant wait to play for his new team.
“Manchester City is an exciting project and this is the right moment for me to take this step. I'm very happy with the opportunity and the decision," Navas told the club's official website.
“The Premier League is a competition where the football is very fast and will suit the way I play. I'm really looking forward to it.
“I'm going to a great club in England and I want to continue developing my game there. The Club has put a lot of faith in me and I want to repay them out on the pitch.”
Even though Navas has struggled to be a regular in the talented Spanish team with the likes of Fabregas, Sergio and Xavi to mention the few keeping their places in the squad, the player has won the 2010 Fifa World Cup and European Championship with the national team.
He came through Sevilla's youth system, scoring 34 goals in nine seasons and made 393 appearances for the club.

12-month ban for Khenyeza

The PSL has given Ajax Cape Town striker Mabhuti Khenyeza a 12-month ban from all footballing activities following a spitting incident to linesman Zakhele Siwela.
The incident happened in the League match against Mamelodi Sundowns on April 2 at Loftus Stadium.
According to kickoff.com, the PSL’s Disciplinary Committee were meant to deliver a verdict two days ago, but it seems the case is a bit more complex.
The PSL DC ruled that:
– Khenyeza is suspended from all football activities under the auspices of the League for a period of 12 (twelve) months (in terms of Rule 50.14.5 of the Rules of the League).
– Khenyeza is ordered to pay costs of the two sittings of 17^th and 23^rd May 2013, such costs to include the travel costs of the League’s witnesses only for 23^rd May 2013.
PSL Prosecutor Nandé Becker said: “We welcome the sentence which is commensurate with the seriousness of the offences with which the player was charged with.
"I hope that the finding and sentence will send a strong message to all football players. Football players should be role models to their supporters, especially when matches are televised internationally.
"We believe that there is a fine line that must not be crossed by players in their conduct towards match officials.
"If players and officials want to be respected by match officials, they must at all times show the same type of respect towards such officials, irrespective of any decisions which may have been made against them by the official.”

Maurinho thinks EPL is more stronger currently

In his second spell with Lonndon club Chelsea, Jose Maurinho thinks that the premiership has grown and its more competitive nowadays.

According to Sky.com, Jose Mourinho says the Premier League is stronger than ever despite English clubs flopping in the Champions League this season.

Chelsea ended Mourinho's six-year exile in Italy and Spain when they reappointed him manager for his second stint at Stamford Bridge on Monday.
But the Portuguese refused to state that he was returning to a poorer top-flight in England.

"People were speaking about the level of the Premier League going down compared with other countries, but I don't believe that. Sometimes things happen when there are no reasons.
"But the Premier League is still a fantastic competition and I believe five or six teams are very strong.
"When I was here before it was more about us, Man United and Arsenal and after that there was a gap to the other teams.
"Now you can put five or six teams in the same plan, aiming to reach the Champions League spots which is very difficult, with those with more ambition aiming to win the Premier League.
"The competition will be fantastic and I hope I can beat the other clubs."
Chelsea fans will expect Mourinho's return to be accompanied by a spending spree as owner Roman Abramovich arms his manager with the funds to reclaim a title they last won in 2010 when Carlo Ancelotti was at the helm.

Forward reinforcements top the shopping list, with Andre Schurrle of Bayer Leverkusen, Manchester City's Edin Dzeko and Fiorentina striker Stevan Jovetic reported to be on Mourinho's radar, reported Sky.com
But the 50-year-old insists that drawing the best from his existing squad will be his most pressing concern and refuses to prioritise any silverware.
"We have to improve the team, but when I say improve the team people are already thinking about how many millions Chelsea will spend. When I say improve the team, I mean through work," he said.
"My work has to improve players and improve the team. If I don't do that I am not happy with myself.
"If after that we can improve the team by buying a couple of players it is fantastic, but I have to improve the team and the players with my work.

"The priority is to improve. In the last two years we have struggled in the Premier League.
"If Chelsea didn't win the Champions League then the club wouldn't have been in the competition this year. This year we had to fight until the last match to qualify.
"We must improve individually, improve collectively and improve the structure of the club around the football team, and try to win the next match.
"Which one is the next match? The Premier League? Let's go for the Premier League. If the next match is the FA Cup, let's go for the FA Cup.
"It's difficult for me to say something is the priority. The priority is to work hard, work professionally and make the team better."

The Neymar-Messi combination finalised

Brazilian dribbling wizzard, Neymar has reportedly signed a five year contract with spanish giants Barcelona at Nou Camp on Monday evening, Sky Sports reported.
The 21-year-old Brazil striker flew to Barcelona on Monday morning to finalise his departure from Santos, nine days after a preliminary agreement between the clubs was made public and just hours after he played in a 2-2 friendly draw with England at the Maracana Stadium.
In a journey charted in detail by the Catalan giants' official website, Neymar was greeted at Barcelona airport - having arrived slightly behind schedule - before being taken to the club's offices to pose for photographs in the Blaugrana shirt and to undergo a medical.
The forward passed "exhaustive tests" before committing his future to the club until June 2018 in the presence of president Sandro Rosell, vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu and sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta. The transfer fee remained undisclosed.
Neymar was later paraded on the Nou Camp pitch in front of thousands of Barca fans and hundreds of journalists, who were scheduled to meet the player at an evening press conference.
The signing of Neymar further boosts the Primera Division champions' attacking riches and the prospect of him linking up with four-time reigning world player of the year Lionel Messi is a mouthwatering one.
It remains to be seen just how Barca coach Tito Vilanova will utilise the two forwards in the same side, but midfielder Andres Iniesta is confident the South American duo will have no problems playing alongside each other.
"The great players always understand one another. Leo will make Neymar better and vice-versa. It's a team game and the sum of all helps the club win," said the Spain international, who believes Neymar has made the right decision in choosing Barca.
"He's coming to the best place that he could go to. One of the best young players is coming and that's what we all wants," Iniesta added.
"He will contribute a lot, he's a player with outstanding talent and quality. He can unsettle opponents, score goals and give spectacular performances at a club which is ideal to continue growing.
"It's great news that we can count on him. Surrounded by the people that he's going to have here, he will get better all the time."

Bojan linked with a move to an English team

According to Sky sports, Bojan Krkic's father has revealed that his son is keen to go to a club where he will play regularly and is unlikely to spend next season with AC Milan.

The 22-year-old forward has been on loan at the San Siro from Barcelona for the past 12 months but the Serie A club are not thought to be keen on arranging a new deal.
Liverpool and Swansea City have been linked with Bojan and his father believes Barca could be tempted to part with the player after signing Neymar.
"I am convinced that Bojan has the quality to play for Barca, but his priority is to go to a team where he will have plenty of playing time," said the player's father, also named Bojan Krkic.
"Milan are happy with his progress, but they do not want to loan him again because they cannot guarantee him minutes.
"We have not talked to Barcelona yet because we want to see what Milan say first and because they are tied up with the arrival of Neymar."

Real Boss dreams of Bale in the Galaticos colours

According to Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, Gareth Bale was "born" to play for Real Madrid".

Double player of the year Bale missed out on UEFA Champions League qualification with Tottenham this month, sparking renewed speculation about his future.


A Sky Sports reportne says the Wales international's agent Jonathan Barnett said earlier this week he would listen to any offer from Real, and Perez has done little to dampen talk of a summer bid.

Speaking about his future plans ahead of his expected re-election to the presidency, Perez told Marca: "Bale was born to play in Madrid."
There was bad news, too, for Liverpool supporters as Perez revealed his admiration for Luis Suarez.
The Uruguay striker told the press in his home country it would be "difficult to say no to Real", although his agent later insisted Suarez has no plans to leave before next season.
Perez said: "Suarez is a great player and I am sure all in the world would want him. I like him and others too, but it does not always fit."

Real's summer business will include finding a successor to outgoing boss Jose Mourinho, and Sky Bet make PSG manager Carlo Ancelotti an odds-on favourite.
But Perez said: "Ancelotti cannot say he has an offer from Real Madrid because he has not. There are more coaches than him."
The president also confirmed his intention to resist all bids for Cristiano Ronaldo, saying: "He has two years on his deal and is the best in the world.
"I will do my best to get him to sign a new contract and would not sell him for 100m euros. We are not a selling club. I would like him to finish his career here."

United preparing for next season

With goal poacher Malatjila on his way to Mamelodi Sundowns, there are other three players being released bt the team.
The Contracts of both Byrone Hendricks and Wayne Matle come to an end this season and with neither player in the coach’s plans for the new season their contracts will not be renewed, the club said on its website.
Hendricks joined the Team of Choice in the 2009/2010 season and has played 91 times for the Team of Choice.
Matle, who was put on transfer at the beginning of the season, struggled to impose himself during his time in Pietermaritzburg and the Club have decided against renewing his contract.
The Club have terminated the Contract of Veteran Goalkeeper Francis Chansa by mutual agreement. With the arrival of Namibian Goalkeeper Virgil Vries, Chansa has been relegated to 3rd choice and the vlub and player decided to part ways.
Mthokozisi Yende’s Loan deal from Kaizer Chiefs also reaches conclusion at the end of this season which will see him return to Kaizer Chiefs. The club will not be approaching Chiefs for a further loan deal or outright transfer.
